We designed our epoché SL 700c wheel system to defy expectations and be as at home climbing into the clouds on tarmac as grinding out a gravel century. This SL revision of our best selling wheel is a touch wider to better support the wider tires coming to gravel racing, and a touch deeper for improved aero, all while shedding grams.

Our High-Precision Molding Process achieves a consistently clean raw matte carbon finish free of excess resin, fillers, or post-mold coatings for a beautiful rim with exceptional strength-to-weight.

Optimized Layups put tough mid-modulus carbon in impact zones and stiff higher-modulus carbon in non-impact zones while reinforcing spoke holes and other high-stress areas.

Engineered for Excellence

Asymmetric Profiles with individually-reinforced and angle-drilled spoke holes balance spoke angles and tensions to increase wheel strength and durability without increasing spoke counts.

Aero Optimized for a 35mm road slick, but wide enough to support supple high volume knobbies. Our epoché SL 700 can keep up on a road ride, without getting knocked around in a crosswind, or rail berms when your gravel ride starts tiptoeing towards mountain bike territory.

Universal Tire Compatibility

High-Impact Bead Hooks on our 700C rims are as tough and light as hookless while also allowing the safe use of both tubeless and tubed clincher road tires at pressures up to 110psi. No pressure or compatibility constraints, no blow-off anxieties, no compromises.

Beadlocks keep tire beads securely in place under constantly changing loads to prevent burping and blowoffs.
