Our Optimized Rim Profile
With its 30mm internal width optimized for today’s more technical XC racing, our gída SL 29 rim supports 2.0" - 2.6” tires at lower pressures for greater traction, control, and comfort.
2.5mm of asymmetry balances spoke angles for higher overall tension and a stronger, more durable wheel with a standard spoke count, while bead locks keep tires secure under lateral loads.
Its robust blended-modulus layup is formed via a high-precision molding process to achieves a clean raw carbon finish free of excess resin, fillers, or post-mold coatings for exceptional strength-to-weight, and heavier or more aggressive riders can add tire inserts for even more ruggedness from a lighter overall system.
Hubs Worth Investing In
At the heart of every gída SL wheel is the arché|os SL hubset. Based on the star ratchet design patented by Hügi in the 90s and later popularized by DT Swiss, our hubs' “arche|os” architecture employs the proven dual-spring floating variation that established this as the “archetype” for bombproof reliability. Our SL hub features high strength alloys and optimized machining for peak weight reduction - just 316 grams per hubset.
